First take a look at this short SEO Philippines profile.
I just wanted to tell you all how excited I am to be the moderator for this group. It’s a very small group now compared to the total number of Filipino webmasters and bloggers around (there must be thousands out there). But through word of mouth, we hope to bring our numbers up to critical mass!SEO can be highly addictive, and pair that with the advertising aspect of it (PPC, affiliate marketing, etc.), it can be highly PROFITABLE. I’m not just talking about the US-based SE marketers. We have a good number of talented SEOs here in the Philippines doing an OK job making extra cash off AdSense and Adwords/Overture. And with the peso set to slide even further, I’m sure earning a few dollars on the side won’t hurt 
I remember reading a lot of “it’s been 6 months and I haven’t even reached the halfway mark for the $100 AdSense minimum” rants in some blogs and initially, I tried to do my share to help them by giving my SEM $0.02 through Macalua.com. But sometimes I get the feeling not everyone can relate to the items I post there. So I decided to create a focus group, a special interest group (SIG) if you will, that can understand and appreciate some of the more advanced SEO / SEM topics, because this is where the real money is. The bonus is that at least I know you are genuinely interested (you better be hehe).
