(Visited 11347 times)I was contacted recently by one of the executives of Matrix Media Technologies, Inc. They’re looking for a SEO specialist to join their Philippine office. He told me the successful applicant can expect a 35,000-55,000/month compensation package.
Matrix Media Technologies, Inc. is a leading specialized search engine marketing firm.
We are looking for an individual to join our top of class search engine marketing team supporting our aggressive growth. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Marketing and Technology team in improving search engine visibility and ROI through search engine optimization. Candidate needs a strong background of search engines and search engine methodologies, search engine friendly content, link and web site architecture strategies and understanding of html. The ideal candidate will have experience in building web pages which rank high in organic search engine listings, analyzing and tracking online conversions and developing new search engine optimization strategies.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Analyze search engine ranking positions and implementing strategies to improve search engine visibility and ROI via ‘on page’ and ‘off page’ SEO strategies
- Optimize SEO performance, analyze SEO initiatives, make recommendations and communicate overall SEO objectives and results
- Understand search engine marketing strategies, the search engine landscape, and the effectiveness of SEO
- Identifying emerging search engine algorithm trends
- Work with web development team to ensure the development of site architectures compatible with search engine optimization efforts
- Work with SEO team to select the most appropriate keyword phrases for optimization utilizing a variety of online tools and competitive research and analysis
- Develop scopes of work for the execution of search engine marketing and optimization campaigns
- Manage all aspects of SEO projects including kickoff, requirements analysis, development, testing and launch
- Anticipating and/or maintaining awareness of all potential and existing issues facing search engine optimization projects, and collaborating with team members to develop solutions/strategies
- Have a high degree of focus on link popularity development
- Ability to communicate instructions, expectations and deadlines clearly and effectively
Job Requirements/Skill Specifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree required
- Preferred in CS, CIS, Marketing, or Business Mgmt/Admin
Experience:
- 2+ years of relevant organic search engine marketing experience
- Experience in quality search engine optimization for multiple client sites desired
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and data analysis
- Knowledge of web analytics
- Internet savvy with knowledge of search engines and natural search engine algorithms
- Excel proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office software
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Strong quantitative, critical thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, aggressive growth environment
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), listening, and team work skills
Pluses:
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and Visio
- Knowledge of XML
- Experience managing Google and/or Yahoo Pay-Per-Click accounts
- Google Adwords Professional or Yahoo Search marketing certification
- Blogging Experience
- DMOZ Editor
- Moderator or Senior member at leading forums

Are you sure 35,000-55,000/month? I love to work with you if the salary you mention above are TRUE…. I am SEO specialist and BLOGGER at the same time… I have a blog sites and I earned revenues through my adsense $150/day. Search engines are a very important source of quality traffic. Having a website is step one, you have to generate traffic and attract visitors. This can be done on many different ways, but the fact is that it always will cost a lot of time..
I like to work with you but let me know if I can trust you…. Prove that and pay me with the salary you mention, then I will SHOW you HOW to get more revenues at your own site… That’s a deal!

If it’s true that you are earning 150$ per day thru adsense, then you dont have to work for that 35,000p/month-job. YOu can just sit back, relax, or travel around the world perhaps.:-) What do you think?
