Search Engine Marketing Specialist

Based in Metro-Manila, Philippines, The Design People, Inc. currently needs two full-time Search Engine Marketing Specialists.We are currently seeking a hands-on, highly motivated and detail-oriented person for the full-time position of Search Engine Marketing (”SEM”) Specialist. This person will be involved in designing and implementing search engine optimization strategies for clients in various industries. This includes working with new and existing clients to create keyword profiles, all facets of HTML optimization and ongoing performance analysis.
The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience and be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Search engine optimization and research and an understanding of how search engines and their spiders work.
- Understanding of web design elements and their effects on “organic/natural” optimization.
- Understanding of database marketing and technical capabilities Strong problem solving and innovation skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Demonstrate some experience with leading search engine ranking, traffic and analysis software (Web Position Gold, Webtrends, etc.).
- Develop targeted keyword lists
- Setup, implement, and manage Paid Search campaigns.
- Continuously optimize the performance of all SEM campaigns.
- Recommend innovative and new ideas.
- Code in HTML
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in SEM.
- Very strong Microsoft Office and Internet skills.
- Thorough understanding of architecting, designing, and submitting websites for natural search engine placement.
- Thorough understanding of Keyword List generation, and bidding techniques for Paid Search.
- Track record of meeting and surpassing SEM objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently/efficiently and to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
